      There’s really a whole lot of sleep trackers out on the market. I’ve used several sleep tracking devices–some bought and some borrowed from relatives or friends to try them out. But I admit, I had to do my fair bit of research before checking out one myself.

      I have owned the Sense with Voice Sleep System. I sold it off after one month of using it, though since I had to try something else. However, I enjoyed using it and especially loved the idea of not having to wear a device to track my sleep. Another thing that I loved about the Sense was that it provided some good data about my sleeping environment, i.e., brightness, temperature, and humidity. Although I never took these too seriously, at least I took the time to adjust my room temp to 22 degrees Celsius before diving into bed. There’s a lot more to the Sense system that I found amazing such as its tech features. The ball illuminates in different colors to indicate room conditions and it could act as a light accompaniment to the alarm.

      I hope you try it in the nearest future. Thinking of this, it might also serve as a nice little Christmas gift.

    This is an impressive and thorough review of these smart devices.

    I’ve been recently interested in buying own for my personal use. I was leaning more towards the fit bit one. I think it will help me, being a nurse with sometimes a not so regular schedule and having to sleep at different times.

    My only worry is having an electronic device nearby overnight: I’m one that closes her wifi/data at night, and sometimes put my phone in airplane mode; I make sure all my electronic devices are either closed or at least not within 5 meters from me and my husband. With this device, I hardly see how that’ll be possible.

    So I guess my question goes like this: is there any data or info available on these devices when it comes to their safety on the human body?
